The Farm at Cedar Barrens

Our first farm and the first step to becoming self-sufficient!  Our farm is located in Murfreesboro, Tn.  We currently have 2 dogs and 8 chickens.  We plan on adding more chickens, goats, pigs, and rabbits.  We will probably add more dogs (thinking about breeding Great Pyrenees) and some cats.

I hope to be able to sale the items listed below in the near future:

Candles- homemade soy candles.. less chemicals, better burn, probably using essential oils to scent

Soap- homemade from goat milk and essential oils

Crocheted Blankets and Quilts- custom blankets and quilts made by me and my mom

Anything else that we decided to make because we love them.  We want to be able to make things with our farm produce.

We've even thought about using a part of the land for a wedding/event venue.

Update:  I've decided that I am going to keep this page.  But I am going to add a link to the new blog! I think that it would be better if the farm had it's own site to be able to better show pictures/selections/updates with those that are interested.
